Why study music at school

What do Pythagoras, Einstein, and Mersenne have in common? They were both mathematicians and musicians.

The part of our brain in charge of sound and the one in charge of mathematics work similar, so when we learn music during our childhood, we can also develop our mathematical skills.

One criminal psychologist also said that classical music positively influences a wise judgment.

When we meditate or do yoga together, music is helpful for the concentration and healing of the mind.

Then, should we learn the basic theory of music like pitch and beat?

Our students listen to and express their music every day. In recent years, advances in technology have made it possible to create music even if you are not able play a music instrument.

When we start math we first learn to add and subtract. What happens if you use a calculator in addition and subtraction in math education? Come out of the great mathematicians could would?

You can enjoy music without knowing the pitch and not knowing the beat, but the depth of understanding will be different. The creation will also be at a different level.

Even as our students go out and communicate with people, this depth of musical understanding can help build a higher consensus.
