I miss you…

I miss you. I miss your smiles, I miss your questions, I miss to hear your steps behind me, … This has been a very extraordinary winter when the whole world is being isolated because a very small but powerful thing, a virus. But it was also extraordinary because hard times remember us how beautiful life is, how extraordinary humans are, and why we always need to be hopeful,… people showing true kindness,… people clapping a nurse when she is going to work one more night,… musicians playing from balconies,… all kind of beautiful messages in social networks,… teachers teaching online,… families at home running a house but also a school, a nursery, a work,…huge work, but we are strong, we are kind, beautiful,… we are amazing. Maybe the virus is strong but we are stronger, because we have kindness and love. The kind of love that make me stand up every day to prepare my classes everyday doesn’t matter if is in the school or online. That is the love I want you to have for school and learning. Thank you for your smiles, for your questions, for your steps behind me,… thank you for choosing me, for choosing CISS. This has been an extraordinary winter in China that I always will remember because all the things I learn, I see, I feel, … but above all what I learnt from a simple small smiles in my computer screen. That is hope, beautiful, powerful, extraordinary, powerful, that is being a human being and that is why I miss you so much.
I miss you.
