CISS hosted its first ever Science Fair on Tuesday May 11. Students from grades 6-8 have participated in the Science Fair with great enthusiasm. It was a great learning experience for the students because it involved so much more than Science.

Through this Project, students learnt Computer Research skills and creating Bibliography for their Science Fair report. Most projects involved great deal of Math and students got an opportunity to enhance their presentation skills when they prepared their display boards and discussed their projects with the audience and the judges.

Science Fair Award Ceremony was held successfully on May 12, 2021

CISS Executive Director Mam Duan, CISB Head of School Mr. Douglas Prescott, CISS Principal Ms. Patricia Larrondo, CISS Staff and PYP, MYP students attended the ceremony and winners were announced based on their best Presentation and Research. Skills.

First place Award was presented to Cho Heeyu and Kim Daniel from Grade 7.

Second place Award was presented to Piao Anna and Yang Habin from Grade 8.

Third place Award was presented to Pei Paul and Zhang Kevin from Grade 7.

Best Grade 6 award was presented to Lee Lydia and Pan Ming En Amy.

Best Grade 7 award was presented to Ayyan Sajid.

Best Grade 8 award was presented to Shi Jason and Xia Zong Yi Richard.

The rest all of the students were presented with ” Science Fair Participation Certificates”.

CISS congratulates all the winners and the participants and wish them best of luck in their future assessments.
